Pakyong, a charming and dynamic hill station, serves as the administrative and geographical heart of Pakyong district in the southeastern corner of Sikkim, India. Encompassing an area of approximately 404 square kilometers (156 square miles), the district is strategically positioned at a latitude of 27.2282031 and a longitude of 88.587925.  Additionally, it holds geopolitical significance due to its proximity to the international borders of the People’s Republic of China and Bhutan, making it a critical area from both administrative and security perspectives.
