Public Notice regarding Odd-Even Rule and restrictions imposed on vehicular movement across the State.
In compliance with the Order dated 29.05.2026 passed by the Hon’ble High Court of Sikkim in WP(PIL) No. 05 of 2026 titled – “Mahesh Rai and Others vs State of Sikkim and Others”, the District Administration, Pakyong, invites complaints, gricvances, suggestions, and feedback from the general public regarding dilliculties being experienced consequent upon the implementation of the Odd-Even Rule and restrictions imposed on vehicular movement across the State.
All residents, commuters, transport operators, business establishment, students, patients, senior citizens, and other stakcholders of Pakyong District are requested to submit their grievances and suggestions, particularly rclating to:
1. Difficulties in daily commuting and transportation;
2. Access to medical, educational, and essential services;
3. Availability and adequacy of public transport facilitics;
4. Impact on business, employment, and livelihood activities;
5. Any other issue arising due to the implementation of the Odd-Even Rule
The submissions may be sent to the Office of the District Collector, Pakyong, either physically during office hours or through email/online mode at:

The public may submit their representations on or before 04/06/2026, to enable the District Administration to compile and place the same before the Hon’ble High Court of Sikkim within the stipulated timeline.
The District Administration assures that all submission received shall be duly considered and consolidated for submission before the Hon ble Court.
