PUBLIC HEALTH ENGINEERING DEPARTMENT

Introduction

The Pakyong Sub-Division of Public Health Engineering Department caters to providing water supply to Urban Areas/ Towns under Pakyong District as well as urban
towns (other bazaars) under Gangtok District.
The area coverage of the sub-Division are:

PAKYONG DISTRICT

1. Pakyong
2. Rangpo
3. Majhitar-mining
4. Rhenock
5. Rongli
6. Rorathang

In addition to supply to the above towns/ areas, our sub-division also provides and maintains dedicated water supply lines to many Governments Institutions/ Offices/ Educational Establishments/ Health Care Facilities, Commercial Establishments, etc. At present the following organizations under Pakyong District are being supplied with
dedicated water supply:

• Advanced Technical Training College, Bardang
• Governors House, Rangpo
