OFFICE OF THE CHIEF PAY AND ACCOUNTS OFFICER, TREASURY PAY & ACCOUNTS OFFICE

Introduction

The Treasury Pay & Accounts Officer was established vide Notification No. 12 dated: 6^th June, 2022 and it is located near DAC Office just a kilometre from the Pakyong Bazar. The new establishment is serving the Department like RDD, Education, Land Revenue and Disaster Development Department, IPR, AH&VS Department, Police Department etc. The TPAO ensure timely delivery of cheques and other instruments to departments and compiles figures of receipt and expenditure every month.

INFRASTRUCTURE:

The office is located on the top floor of the ADC office. Four rooms have been provided for the officers, one room each for cheque and pre-check section has also been allocated. Individual computer has been provided for the existing table employees and officers. Two almirah exists for CP&AO and Dy. CP&AO. Emergent office equipment like Xerox copy has also been provided, but no room has been provided for compilation section. This office is running in shortage of Accounts Clerk, Office Attendant and Driver. However, the matter has been taken up with the Finance Department.
